TeacherWISE is an empirically supported program that helps
teachers and school staff manage five domains of their well-being:
The TeacherWISE program helps educators assess their
own well-being and personalize their learning with specific
strategies that enhance their well-being.
TeacherWISE allows participants to focus on the
topics most important to them and return to these
topics whenever needed.
ABOUT US
Since 2013, the Georgetown Well-Being in School Environments (WISE) Center and the Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development (GUCCHD) team of psychologists and psychiatrists have worked closely with school communities and early childhood programs across the United States and internationally. We remain dedicated to addressing mental health topics important to schools, from effective social-emotional programming for students to school-based mental health services and staff burnout and turnover.
Our mission is to promote educators’ well-being through assessments and personalized improvement strategies so that they may thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Our vision is to have schools recognize educators’ well-being as essential to staff and student success.
